I am STRONG “Melkiknay” is a project with the Newfoundland Aboriginal Women’s Network.  The Indigenous Community Navigator (ICN) will work to assist Indigenous women on the island portion of the province facing homelessness or at risk of homelessness and help connect them to the supports they need.

Our Indigenous Community Navigator (ICN) will work to assist clients in navigating the current Federal, Provincial and Community programs and services related to homelessness, mental health support, gaining employment, and education opportunities.
Some of the Supports that the ICN will assist clients with are:

• Housing Support

• Mental Health and Addictions

• Education Opportunities

• Employment programs
